The house is located in the historic center of a small town in northern Italy - a context that presents specific challenges for design. Working within the boundaries of a historic urban fabric imposes restrictions on layout changes, materials, and structural interventions, requiring careful attention to every detail.

The interior design balances tradition and modernity. Local materials such as Breccia marble and Palladian-style terrazzo floors emphasize the connection to the region, while contemporary Italian-made upholstered furniture brings a sense of lightness and relevance to the space. A significant part of the project was dedicated to integrating the client’s extensive collection of vintage Italian furniture, preserving its character and historical value within a renewed interior.
